Students of Chemical Engineering Program shall

  • Apply knowledge of the basic science, mathematics and chemical engineering in the design and operations of chemical processes.
  • Have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex problems in the various domains of chemical engineering such as momentum transfer, heat transfer, mass transfer and mechanical operation in chemical process industries
  • Possess the attitude of innovation and lifelong learning as per the need of wider context of technological changes in the field of chemical engineering
  • To provide students with a broad knowledge of the principles of chemical engineering their applications.
  • To provide students with the knowledge and skills required to design and analyze chemical taking into account health, safety, environment and social impacts.
  • To train students to develop process for the production of chemicals & petrochemicals.
